Bill Fawkner-Corbett has been investing (on and off) for 50 years. For the first 35 years he invested mainly in Investment Trusts and Unit Trusts; since 2008 over half his portfolio has been in shares in individual UK, US and European companies. He is Head of SIGnet, a network of individual investors with 30 groups in the UK who hold regular, informal group meetings aimed at improving their skills and investment knowledge. Professionally, he has worked for the past 30 years in Corporate Finance and Private Equity in Central and Eastern Europe.
