Charles is a member of PrimaryBid’s Capital Markets team, helping listed companies give individual shareholders access to transactions on equal terms with institutions. He has 25 years of retail and institutional equity experience in London and Paris. Prior to joining PrimaryBid, Charles worked at Evercore in the Middle East in an equity advisory role, where he advised Saudi Aramco on preparations for its IPO. Before Evercore, Charles spent 20 years at HSBC where he had a varied career including: running mid-market investment banking for the UK and Ireland; executing HSBC’s own record breaking US$19.3bn rights issue; working with the French Government for four years privatising three motorway companies and Paris Airports; and running a full UK intermediaries’ offer and London listing for both Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom.
